The house is a mess.
Matt's been at work for more than 14 hours now.
But I'm very happy.
Autumn just took a break from her demolition work to spend some cuddle time with me. We sat in the big brown rocker and pulled a throw blanket over our heads. Autumn balled her hand into a fist with her chubby little index finger pointed out to show me how the light shined through between the threads of the woven blanket. And then we sat there in the darkness of our little tent, both of us tracing out the patterns in the light with our fingers. Autumn giggling around her thumb and me thinking just how perfect such moments can be.
